The short version
Masking Tone is built by Longspaces Limited (UK). We designed the app to collect as little information as possible: in fact, we collect no personal data at all.
What we collect
Nothing. Masking Tone does not require an account, an email address, or any personal identifier. We do not track your activity, and we do not use analytics or advertising identifiers in the app.
Where your data lives
All of your session data — the tones you choose, the masking modes you use, and any outcomes you record — is stored locally on your device using Apple’s standard on-device storage. It never leaves your phone and is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
Optional Tone Journal purchase
The optional Tone Journal upgrade is an in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details, billing address, or any purchase history from Apple.
Third-party services
The app does not integrate third-party analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or cloud backends. The only external interaction is the App Store purchase flow, which is handled by Apple.
